Please limit your response to 250 words.

This should be similar to your stump speech explaining why you are running and what your top issues are.

Please keep your bio to two paragraphs and write in the 3rd person (Barack is running for Illinois State Senate because he cares about South Side residents having access to healthcare and clean drinking water).

Visit the RFS candidate directory for examples:

  • RFS Alumni Advisors

Alumni Advisors are RFS candidates from prior cycles that are matched with newly endorsed RFS candidates to help answer your questions and support you as a candidate -- running for office can feel lonely!

Advisors are matched with candidates based on shared perspectives or commonalities between their campaign and yours, and are available for ongoing check-ins (roughly every 3-4 weeks) for the duration of the campaign to provide support and perspective from someone who has also recently been a first-time candidate.

At this time, we cannot guarantee capacity to match every endorsed candidate with an Alumni Advisor. However, if interested please indicate which of the categories below you would be most interested in connecting on with an Alumni Advisor.

We will do our best to find an available advisor that aligns with one or more of the categories you indicate. If a match is available, we will introduce you to your Advisor via email. Select all that apply(Hold Ctrl to select multiple options)

  • If you requested an alumni advisor above, feel free to share any additional details or context regarding what kind of match you're looking for. We'll do our best to accommodate.

  • Do you have access to the voter file through one of these tools?

  • RFS can help direct volunteers interested in helping your campaign to a website or email address. Which would you prefer to use as your primary call to action?

Select an option and then enter the address below.

  • Enter the URL you would like RFS to use to send direct volunteers interested in helping your campaign (campaign website, email, Mobilize, or others are welcome)?

  • Enter the EMAIL ADDRESS you would like RFS to use to send direct volunteers interested in helping your campaign (campaign website, email, Mobilize, or others are welcome)?

  • Make your pitch, in 100 words or less, on why someone should support your campaign. What makes you different from your opponents and what do you bring to the table that no one else can? Are you a "first"?
