Karolyne Carloss is a native Texan and proud Van Horn community member. A non-profit professional, Karolyne has dedicated herself to initiatives ranging from women’s homelessness to international microfinance to global primary healthcare. Karolyne currently serves as a Program Director for Van Horn school, helping to create college and career pathways for rural students.
Located in the West Texas desert, Van Horn may be remote, but it’s also in the middle of many important conversations around immigration justice, rural healthcare, sustainable development, and rural education. Van Horn is ready to lead on these issues, and Karolyne is excited to help the town rise to the occasion.
