Jaime Guzmán is a proud husband, father, lawyer and son of immigrants. He has spent the last 15 years serving the communities on the Southside of Chicago. Jaime has extensive experience leveraging resources for economic development initiatives, youth programs, street intervention, and created sanctuaries for survivors of domestic violence.
Jaime is running against an incumbent that has held the aldermanic seat for 50 years and is the chair of the city’s finance committee. With a strong platform of providing transparency and community involvement to its constituents, Jaime is the leading candidate to bring real change to a community in dire need of extinguishing Chicago’s ‘Boss’ mentality.
